The sewall sand is a productwhich Dansk Kvarts Industri A/S helped develop in collaboration with Aarhus Firedepartment and Risskov Environment and Wildlife Association after the water from the Bay of Aarhus had pulled up to the homeowners along the coast in Risskov and in the area by Egå.
What is special about the seawall sand is that the packaging absorbs the moisture.
Since then, more and more environment and wildlife associations have become aware of the idea and has also used DKI’s seawall sand.
